Welcome to the information site for the 22nd Annual Symposium of the Pattern Recognition Association of South Africa (PRASA) to be held in November 2011.
This year, the conference will be hosted by the HyperVision Research Laboratory of the University of Johannesburg from the 22nd to the 25th of November 2011.
The venue for the conference is the Emerald Resort and Casino, situated on the banks of the Vaal River. For more information regarding the venue: Emerald Resort. The conference will be presented at the Kilimanjaro Venue, which is adjacent to the hotel.
This year, the keynote speaker will be Dr. Nicholas Gans, an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Each presenter is allocated a twenty minute time slot, of which fifteen minutes is to be dedicated to presenting the content of the paper, while five minutes is reserved for questions.
