Call for Papers

Deadline: 21st September 2011

This year, the 22nd annual symposium of the Pattern Recognition Association of South Africa (PRASA) will be hosted by the University of Johannesburg at the Emerald Resort and Casino on the 22-25 of November 2011. General pattern recognition, image, video and speech processing topics are welcomed at this symposium.

PRASA is an accredited, peer reviewed conference on Pattern Recognition in South Africa.

Topics include but are not limited to :

Students are encouraged to submit papers. In addition to the main conference program, there will be a work in progress session where work will be presented as posters.

Language

English is the official language of the symposium.

Format

The format of all paper submissions for this conference must conform to the IEEE specifications: IEEE Document Format. Both Microsoft Word and LaTeX may be used. However all papers should be submitted in Portable Document Format (PDF).

Length

All paper submissions should be no longer than 6 pages.
